6. AI Processing

To provide AI features you request, we send only the minimum necessary portions of your content (for example, excerpts of uploads, prompts, and related context) to selected third‑party AI providers.

  • We do not use your content to train our own models.

  • Where provider settings allow, we disable training on your content. Providers may retain limited logs for a short period to detect abuse/fraud, according to their policies.

  • We rely on selected third‑party service providers, including:

    • AI model providers — generate outputs using your prompts and relevant excerpts of your content.
    • Payment processors — process billing details and transaction metadata. We do not store full card numbers.
    • Security/CDN and WAF providers — protect the service and optimize performance; may set strictly‑necessary security cookies.

    The categories of providers we use and their purposes may change over time. We will update this Privacy Policy to reflect material changes.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located in the EEA, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in Australia and other countries outside the EEA that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.   • Uploads and generated content (documents, images, slides, quizzes, summaries, chats): retained until you delete the item or your account is deleted.
  • Application logs and telemetry: typically 30–90 days.
  • Backups: encrypted backups may retain deleted data for 30–90 days until backup rotation completes.
  • Billing and transactional records: retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • Support tickets and correspondence: retained for up to 24 months.

9. Your Privacy Rights

a. Australian Privacy Principles: Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Make a complaint if you believe we have breached the APPs.

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
